Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage Chinese side cabinet with native scenes of a Samurai warrior carved out of soapstone and decorated in the Chinoiserie style

A very good looking and well made piece, these are now highly collectable as art furniture. This was has a nicely patinated lacquered frame which has been hand painted, it also has large amounts of carved soap stone to the finish which gives it a lovely 3d affect
Condition wise, we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there, some losses to the soapstone
