Pair of Decorated Lacquer Chinese Stools With Carved Hardstone Figures

About the Item

A vintage pair of Chinese lacquer open drum shape white stools decorated with intricate scrolling artwork throughout. The recessed tops of each stool feature mirror images in carved hardstone of two figures in traditional dress, conversing in a garden. Beautiful shades of green and red colors the white stools. Lucite covers the recessed tops of each stool.
