Victorian Oak Dining Set, Table and Chairs Suite, 1880
About the Item
Stunning oak dining room suite.
circa 1880
This suite comprises of a 4 leaf extending dining table and 10 oak carved chairs.
The table stands upon very unusual turned and carved legs.
The table extends by way of a telescopic timber action with a wind out mechanism to allow to take up to 4 extra leaves.
The set of 10 (8 + 2) chairs standing upon carved and shaped legs with turned and fluted decoration.
The front rails being of a carved and pierced decoration.
The seats of the chairs are of a stuff over form (very comfortable)
The padded tall backs of the chairs having a shaped and carved wood frame.
The chairs finished with brass stud work.
Presented in very good condition.
