About the Item

19th century Meiji period sage Jubako lacquerware picnic set decorated with iroe hiramaki e, hirame, and mura nashiji techniques on a nashiji ground. Composed of four stacking boxes, serving trays and two original metal sake flasks, plus its original box. Box measures 14 7/8 by 16 by 9 3/4 inches.
