This hand-forged pair of 19th century scissors would have been a valuable and versatile tool, whether used by a trained shoemaker to cut leather or a refined scholar to trim a bonsai tree. The large loop handle sits very close to the blade and fits comfortably in the hand, allowing for better control and movement freedom.
