Omani Two Silver Leaf Pattern Scroll or Document Holders
About the Item
Two fine graduated vintage Omani silver pierced scroll or document holders believed to date to the early to mid 20th century. The scroll holders are of long hollow cylindrical shape with decorative finials to either end, one doubling up as a removable cap allowing the insertion of a rolled document or scroll. These finely crafted scroll holders are made in high grade silver and both are designed with stylized scrolling leaf designs with pierced elements and the larger scroll holder with a blank cartouche to the bodies with finely molded designs to the end terminals.
