From Japan comes this beautiful complete and authentic antique handcrafted and wrought bronze percussion instrument that was created by specialized Samurai craftsman with dimpled construction for Zen temples and private Shrines in Japan. This is an old and large one. It comes complete with cushion, stand, bronze bell, and striker, Now you can own one of these handcrafted master pieces for your own meditating home enjoyment. This very old hand cast bronze temple bell sets atop a contemporary round black lacquered wood display base with a silk lotus form pillow and wooden striker. When struck, it creates a serene reverberating sound perfect for meditating, stress relief or as a warm, welcoming and pleasant house guest dinner chime indoors or out of doors, Dimensions: 13.5 inches high with display base and 11 inches diameter. The bronze antique period hand cast bronze bell only measures 7 inches high and 10 inches diameter. Japan, an exceptionally tall 29" antique monumental monochrome amber yellow crackle glazed dragon vase with a dramatic and impressive "curling dragon" wrapped around its stem. It was crafted by the master artisans of the Japanese southern Awaji Kiln, from the late Meiji to Taisho period (1910-1920). The impressive porcelain vase crafted in a tubular modernist form with an original amber yellow glazed finish and with an applied curling dragon sculpture. It is unsigned as many normally were from that period and is in original condition with normal kiln origination surface creation imperfections. Dimensions: 29 inches tall and 9 inches diameter top and with an 8 inch diameter base Provenance: private New England collection.
