About the Item

Shigaraki is one of the six ancient kilns of Japan. Early 17th century full formed vessel with refined neck and green glaze on front shoulder. Very similar to two pieces in "Shigeraki Potters' Valley" by Cort, described as 17th century. Opening is 2 1/2" diameter.
