Original Blueprint Of Yacht Venture III By Olin Stevens

About the Item

Sparkman and Stevens original yacht blueprint of the Auxiliary Sloop Venture III. Built at Simms Brothers in Dorchester, Mass in 1949. Designed by Olin Stevens and Aage Nielsen. Very historic blueprint here coming from the masters. Legend reads design "379-C1-24 Arrangement Plan, 34'0" L.W.L. Auxil Sloop for Simms Bros., Scale 3/4 inch = 1 foot". Length overall 51'8", Beam 11'6". Sparkman & Stevens Inc, 11E 44th St., NY, NY, Dec 8, 1947. Detail include owner's stateroom, berths, galley, lockers, seats, sail locker, chart table, etc.. Still afloat sailing as "Bounty".
