Rare find, Utagawa Ando Hiroshige, Japanese, 1797 to 1858, woodblock prints on paper, peach and swallows in moonlight. The first is signed and inscribed in Hieroglyphs and red ink stamp upper and lower left, framed in Tokyo, Japan. Utagawa Hiroshige, born Ando Tokutaro, was a Japanese ukiyo e artist, considered the last great master of that tradition. Hiroshige is best known for his horizontal format landscape series The Fifty three Stations of the Tokaido and for his vertical format landscape series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo. Asian and oriental paintings, wall art, home decor, and collectibles. One of a kind artwork. Dimensions Size: Frame 21 1/2 x 13 1/2 in. Image 15 x 7 in. All measurements are approximate.
