Huge Calligraphy Brush Black Lacquered Mother of Pearl Cherry Blossoms
About the Item
A very large, 20" calligraphy brush made with black lacquered handle encrusted with mother of pearl cherry blossoms. The black lacquer is a painstaking process that takes days of applying and layering to achieve the shiny, saturated finish. Beautiful dainty mother of pearl cherry blossoms are meticulously inlaid into the handles, creating a fluid, dreamy, romantic scene. This is a very special piece that is functional as a painting or calligraphing brush and artistic as a design element. We also have a smaller piece available. Of course they are all one of a kind, hand made, never used.
