From our recent Japanese Acquisitions Travels Big pair Giant master work cranes hand cast in bronze for the finest garden, photographed in natural sun light. Japan, a Fine pair of largest scale bronze hand cast, handcrafted cranes with Fine details and original century old patina. They do not come much larger and taller than this impressive 119 year old plus pair, 1900. Old Japan craftsmanship with a Fine old variegated green patina on surfaces with minor cracks and dings you would expect from appropriate old age. Dimensions: Tallest: 60 inches tall and 30 inches wide and 16 inches deep Shorter 35 inches tall and 33 inches in length Age: Meiji period Beautiful hand cast detail with lovely green patina with realistic web feet- just the way we like to find them. Provenance: Old Southern Japanese garden History of the crane form: Magnificent garden showpieces, cranes in Japanese culture symbolize luck, longevity and fidelity.
