Japanese Flower Diamond Obi

About the Item

This finely woven Japanese silk obi exudes opulence and femininity. Typically made of fine silks with rich embroidery, the obi is a decorative sash worn at the waist to secure a traditional Japanese kimono and magnify the wearer’s silhouette. Woven of yellow, purple, and orange silks with a contrasting metallic silver trim, the long obi features a repeated design of flower-diamonds (hana-bishi) and floating silver clouds.
