c. 1900s-1910s; Olympic Logmaster - Chicago, IL Pair of cast iron andirons with stylized ram's head finials, marked "Olympic Logmaster 254". Originally produced by Olympic Logmaster, a Chicago-based manufacturer known for its early 20th-century cast iron fireplace accessories, this striking pair of andirons feature heavy-duty construction and bold sculptural detailing. Each upright is topped with a horned ram's head in high relief, rendered in a sharply geometric Art Deco style. The rear extensions are solid and substantial, designed to support large firewood in open hearths.
