About the Item

A pair of blackened cast-iron Wrythen Eagle andirons with scrollwork. Originally from a mansion in Southern Scotland. Possibly manufactured by The Carron Ironworks, near Falkirk, Stirlingshire, established 1759. Restored, Circa 1815-20
