Pair of Art Nouveau Andirons or fire dogs in patinated brass, first half of the 20th century. Whimsical pair of andirons in patinated brass from early 20th century. Very stylish pair of andirons / fire dogs for your fireplace, or to use just as decoration on a sideboard or table. Great details as the knobs on top, the elegant feet and the little 'tail' on the back. A great design on the crossroads of Art Nouveau and modernism. Due to their presence and grace they are very elegant and can be placed very playful as a pair. They are animal like in their appearance and just a joy to look at. Very nice condition with a desirable patination and great detailing. Hand made and not easy to find. Please note: price is for the pair. (Can not change it in the system)
