A pair of tall and impressive gilded age fire dogs in heavy wrought iron featuring bronze shields with flying ribbon surmounts on twisted shafts surmounted by bronze ball finials, the whole standing on arched scrolled and etched bases with serpentine spit supports. Convenient narrow back depth makes them useful in various fireplace configurations. A matching set of tools in stand is also available.
