Crafted in France circa 1870, the rectangular shaped screen sits on scroll feet decorated with acanthus leaf motifs over a carved and pierced floral apron. With mesh wire on the facade, the fire place essential features Louis XVI style motifs including and a center medallion decorated with the traditional Louis XVI ribbon bow and decorated with foliage and torch motifs.
