18th Century Iron Gate and Panels from Spanish Villa

About the Item

This ancient gate and door structure is a truly hard to find piece 100% hand forged - 5 panels and door. Dated to the 18th century, with original lock and key. This 5 part piece is very old and has been in constant use for centuries. Despite its age, the whole structure is in wonderful strong condition. Very usable and can be modified to fit your needs. As seen in the images, we have set this up in our warehouse to stage it for your better understanding of how this amazing gate structure can look, in its totality or in parts, based on your particular use. Note: Dimensions of all parts are as follows; total height of lateral gate panels is 75.5 inches tall. The door is taller at 87.75 inches tall - bottom addition can be removed if necessary. The door alone is 38.5 inches wide. Total width of the structure as photographed is 174.5 inches. From left to right, the panels width are 33.5 wide (far left), 35.5 inches wide (right of the door), 32 inches wide (2nd right from door), 39.25 inches wide at base (furthest to right).

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Given its 100's of years age, wear and use - these gates are STILL VERY solid and usable. They have some oxidization and modifications over the decades. Extremely authentic and beautiful as is. VERY heavy and requires strong support frame.
