About the Item
Pair of 1940s hammered brass door hinge straps by William Spencer and Victorian brass door knocker. The set was salvaged from the front door of a Bucks County farmhouse estate in New Hope, PA. The straps have beautiful scroll work, hammered finish and pointed, arrowhead style finial. The brass door knocker has a classic, timeless design surmounted with a swag-wrapped urn and likely has an iron component incorporated for durability. This is a gorgeous set displaying its desirable, time-achieved patina.
