About the Item

Beautiful handmade tiles in rich ochre and lightblue glazed colors with beautiful circular designs. Manufactured around 1920 by Gilliot Hemiksem, Belgium.  One tile set is divided in four squares, each symmetrically designed with a floral design. four tiles makes one pattern. These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design. Please note that the piece is for 1 tile, 120 tiles available. Size each tile: 10,8  inches (11 cm) width x 6 inches (11 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color difference and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the design. There can be slight variations in each tile's size because of their age and craftsmanship.
