Brown and Yellow Art Nouveau Glazed Relief Tiles by Gilliot, Hemiksem, circa 192

About the Item

Handmade relief tiles in warm brown and yellow glazed colors. Manufactured around 1920 by Gilliot Hemiksem, Belgium. These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design. Please note that the price is for 1 tile. (One tile is divided in four small squares.) We have a total of 250 tiles available. Size each tile: 6 inches (15 cm) width x 6 inches (15 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color difference and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the design. There can be slight variations in each tile's size because of there age and craftsmanship.
