About the Item

This beautifully preserved store facade is in the Roman Revival style and came off of the oldest building in Clinton, Wisconsin. The building was originally a livery, and with the invention of the automobile eventually became a garage. The tin has been painted, with a majority of the original paint still surviving. The tin is in excellent shape for its age. The pediment has a wooden frame inside of it, though that frame may need reinforcement if the goal is to mount the pediment to a modern building. The facade measures 113" across at the top, 19 1/2" deep, and 48" in height at the peak. The lion figures on either end measure 8" across and the lettering is 8" in height. Please note that two of the spheres on the face are missing. A crate has been built around the pediment in our shop for storage. This is likely how to pediment will ship to prevent any damage from occurring.
