Georgian Style White Marble Chimneypiece with Rams Head to Centre Plaque
About the Item
A fine quality English white marble fireplace in the manner of George III. The centre tablet with ram's head and vine leaves, juxtaposed with inlaid fluting. The fluted jambs surmounted by ionic capitals and quiver, arrow and ribbon side blocking. Moulded breakfront shelf. A good quality copy of an original piece.
