About the Item

I'm told that this Lion was an architectural element outside a theater. It looks like MGM but can't say for sure. The weathered patina tells me it was mounted outdoors and the scale is right as a buildings decorative feature. The construction could be an early fiber glass. The three-dimensional sculptured details are very well done.
