Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale lovely hand carved 18th century wall Surmount Circa 1700-1720 depicting Recumbent Regal Lions with a large winged Cherub Angel in the middle
This is an important and well made carving, it's in wonderful condition for something 300-320 years old. These pieces can be used above doorways and for general decoration, the timber patina is simply exquisite, there is no other word for it
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there
