Large Art Deco Push Pull Door Handle in Brass

About the Item

A set of two large lateral push-pull door handles of tubular brass. English, art deco style, 20th century. A striking set - each piece made to span the full width of a door - the handles are formed from three brass sections, curved at the ends, mounted onto two brass fixing plates. Previously used outside, on large hotel doors, the handles could also be used inside as required; each mounting bracket can be removed. Overall the set is in vintage condition with marks and slight pitting from age and outdoor use. We have categorised this set as in fair condition to draw attention to these points. Mid-brown tones with some oxidation. Approximate dimensions: H: 24cm W: 75cm including brackets D: 5cm Each bracket: H: 24cm x W 5cm Weight: approximately: 4.4kg per piece (including brackets); these are heavy pieces, and suitable installation will be required. Two sets of two available.
