About the Item

Art tiles, set of four, each unique in glaze in dramatic colors and explosive patterns. The translucent glazes are applied thick so that they create a crackling effect. These glazes were very popular at the time but are now impossible to reproduce because theire ingredients are not available anymore. They are in perfect condition. They are made in the 1960s to appy as architectural features or as wall decorations. There is a seccond set listed with four extra Large 50 x 20 cm tiles with same glazes and colours, see the last picture of listing; Item Reference LU1001540842292 The Moderns have a large collection of Architectural Elements including door handles listed.
