About the Item

Mixed handmade tiles in rich brown, green and yellow glazed colors. Manufactured around 1920 by Gilliot Hemiksem, Belgium. These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design. Please note that the piece is for 1 tile. 40 yellow flower tiles, 60 of the star shaped flower and 80 brown with yellow flower available. Size each tile: 6 inches (15.2 cm) width x 6 inches (15.2 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color difference and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the design. There can be slight variations in each tile's size because of there age and craftsmanship.
