About the Item

Rare pair of large decorative elements in carved wood and wrought iron, originally they were balusters of the ceremonial staircase of a Napoleon III castle. Composed of a medallion with rich volutes joined in the upper and lower part by a leafy bundle, in the center a beautiful wrought iron cartouche decorated with velvet and foliage. Presented in its original condition with some lacks. For creating a staircase or any other decorative destination to imagine: between two walls, to hang on a wall or above a door. To repaint or let it in its own juice.
