About the Item
superb green and brown glazed terracotta ridge cap from the 1950s, large in size
it can be used to decorate your interior with its pretty colors, or resume its original function on your roof
The upper part can represent an animal, often a rooster in France on churches, but also other animals or geometric, plant figures (in the shape of a pine cone, we then speak of a pinnacle), or symbolic figures. Some ridge spikes represent professions (roofer for example) or even hunting or fishing scenes. There are ridge spikes in the shape of a dragon, a horse (prancing, galloping, etc.) for lovers of horse riding, cats, boats, etc.
