About the Item

A large antique round transfer printed basin with a triform stand sourced from the property of American-born British violinist and conductor Yehudi Menuhin. This large sink has a simple yet elegant porcelain basin finished in a blue and white coloured glaze with deep soap dishes, held on a striking mahogany two tier triform base with original fittings and castors. Dating to circa 1880, this is a wonderful addition for a vintage style bathroom in period and modern properties alike.

  • Condition:
    Original plug waste and chain. three shaped soap recesses. The basin is in excellent condition with light wear. The stand has several areas of repair and chipping to veneer. Originally drained into bucket but could be adapted for modern plumbing.
