About the Item

A Spanish 18th century split-door within it's original casing. This antique architectural piece from Spain features a shorter, half door (similar to a Dutch style door, split horizontally at it's center) set within the original casing. This piece maintains it's original iron hardware and decorative iron elements. The casing and door has a wonderful aged patina, and there are remnants of old red and white paint in various areas. The door opens to the backside, making best use of this as an architectural element to decorate a wall. Please note that this antique Spanish door in casing is a very heavy piece and we recommend a minimum of three men to move or install. Measures: Height 86 inches Height with pins 91.5 inches.
