About the Item

A handsome unglazed antique English mahogany door suitable for internal use with a French polish finish to one side and an old paint finish to the other. Beautiful in colour and design, this 170-year-old mahogany door was reclaimed from a private house in Liverpool that later became a school. It is crafted from solid mahogany and features a large unglazed panel for custom-glazing as desired above a decorative panel carved with reeds and roundels with a raised and fielded octagonal panel below.
