Antique Set of Three Decorative Etched Glass Doors with Peacocks from France
About the Item
Salvaged from an estate in France, this is a beautiful set of doors with etched glass and raised wood panels. The etched glass is very ornate with the center door featuring a vase with flowers on a balcony overlooking a body of water. The doors to the right and left have decorative stairways on each side of the balcony with peacocks on each door. The doors were hinged together and opened like a folding screen or also can be opened using a single door. The doors look a lot better than in the photos, hard to get a good picture. Each door is 26.5" x 105.5" and the glass is in good condition but the doors need to be stripped or painted. This is a beautiful set of three which would look wonderful in any room.
