About the Item

Reclaimed from a French interior, this 19th-century two-panel door is crafted from fir and wears its original seafoam green paint in a beautifully weathered finish. The exposed woodgrain peeks through in all the right places, whispering of its decades of use and quiet elegance. Its narrow proportions and aged surface make it ideal as a statement piece in a modern space—or as architectural salvage for a project steeped in history. Salvaged in France, from the late 19th century. Crafted from fir. Worn seafoam green paint, softened with time covers the door. 3 partial half-barrel hinges are present; no other hardware. Minor wood separation present, with overall condition consistent with age and use. Approximately 29.5” W x 73.75” H x 1” D.
