About the Item
A set of German antique double doors dating from the late 19th century and later fitted with mirrors. These doors were likely once used as external doors but are now more suited to being tall cupboard or wardrobe doors thanks to their mirrored panels. Having survived throughout the decades, these doors have a working handle and a supremely stylish distressed paint finish to the front with a shagreen, stingray skin effect. With the right care and attention, these antique doors will make a striking pair of built-in cupboard or wardrobe doors in a traditional property. They can also be used in a more modern setting as a chic vintage feature.
