They are an unequal pair, meeting to one side rather than in the centre, and have a handcrafted misshapen look that adds to their eclectic appeal. Formed in wrought iron, they are strong driveway gates and date back more than 200 years where a talented blacksmith has carefully worked the metal by hand. Detailed with simple scrollwork and arches, you can imagine these unusual driveway gates sitting beautifully at the front of a thatched country cottage or farmhouse.
