Meticulously hand-crafted from old-growth yellow pine, it features a majestic multi-tiered crown with intaglio carved foliates appearing over the magnificent cast iron inset that dominates the upper portion of the door frame. Centered in the casting is a handsome nobleman situated on an intricate heraldic crest, surrounded by an amazing display of floral and foliate designs above and below. That composition is then framed yet again with a surrounding border of intertwined scrolls punctuated with rosettes. The entire iron work is framed like a painting in the detailing of the door frame.
