Victorian Front Door with Stained & Leaded Glass Fanlight

About the Item

Dating from the late 19th century, this English Victorian front door with leaded glass fanlight sets the stage for an impressive entryway. Made from solid oak with a rich dark brown hue, this antique exterior door has stood the test of time for more than 150 years. At the front, the door features linenfold panel construction, evocative of Gothic styles, with a letterbox and handle above a leaded fanlight with clear and textured glass. This centres around an earlier hand painted stained glass figure of what appears to be a contemplating man at an archway. Take a look at its intricacy for yourself by looking at the close-up photo. It is a unique front door for a period home with a design that simply cannot be imitated in the same way in the modern construction of today. Door measures H 207 x W 97.5 x D4.8 cm (H 81.49 x W 38.38 x D 1.88 inches)
