Exquisite set of hand made brass fireplace tools from England (late 1800s) along with hand forged iron brush from France (mid 1800s). Set includes shovel, fork, tongs, brush and stand.

Fire fender is from an Estate in Coral Gables, FL.
Interesting fact: The owner of the Colonial style home was a childhood friend of President Harry Truman. Harry and Bess Truman would visit his childhood friend at the estate in Coral Gables. He may have admired these andirons in the fireplace or on a rare occasion admired them when they burned a fire in Florida!
