This is an antique Art Nouveau coal scuttle. An English, copper and wrought iron fireside log bucket in the shape of a pram, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Fascinating form and wonderful hand-beaten appeal Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order Quality antique copper displays deep amber hues Striking wrought iron spiral handle mounted upon distinctive shaped mounts Coal shovel rests neatly within the rear-mounted holder Raised upon a pair of unusual, serpentine scrolled feet This is a charming antique Art Nouveau coal scuttle, with dashing Art Nouveau taste.
