Beautiful 17th century Dutch fireback with an allegory of Hope. The fireback is from the Louis XIV period. Hope from the triptych faith, hope and love, the three theological virtues). The fireback has a natural brown patina and can be made black / pewter upon request. The fireback is made of cast iron and is in a good condition.
