Antique Edwardian Rosewood Inlaid Coal Purdonium

About the Item

Quality Antique Edwardian rosewood inlaid coal purdonium having beautiful inlaid scroll and leaf decoration to the front and back pediment, the front fall opens to reveal a removable galvanised coal hod and original copper shovel with oak turned handle. It boasts cast brass gilt handles to the front and sides, boxwood line inlay to the top, sides and shaped plinth and is raised on four brown original china castors. A very decorative piece in lovely original condition. Measures: Height 78 cm Width 39 cm Depth 37 cm 1901.
