French Louis XIV Period fireback with a coat of arms. 17th century. The pillars, so called pillars of Hercules, stand for the club of Hercules. They symbolize strength and the unknown.
The fireback is made of cast iron and has a natural brown patina. Upon request it can be made black/pewter at no extra costs. It is in good condition and has no cracks.
