Handmade antique work-of-art-firescreen with stylized, chestnut leaf pattern. This all handcrafted firescreen from the early 1900s definitely is a one of a kind antique. Back in the day it would have been made to stand in front of the fireplace in the warmer part of the year so that people did not have to look at the dark inside of a fireplace. Nowadays this handcrafted work of art can simply be placed anywhere, pure for its decorative appeal also. The fact that several master craftsman spent a whole lot of time, dedication, focus and skill in creating this screen ofcourse ads to its already special look and feel.
