Classical Victorian, Aesthetic Movement brass fireplace fender. The fender features two repeating brass rails, with decorative fluted ball spaces. late 19th century vintage, this example was probably made in the USA, in the English manner, it is unsigned.
The clean, sophisticated, architectural lines, and early Modernist Aesthetic Movement design make this piece work with both Traditional, and Modern interior spaces.
Good, clean, ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age and use.
