A Fine 19th C. Neoclassical Inspired Serpentine Steel Fire Fender, Circa 1840

About the Item

A very handsome serpentine-shaped polished steel fire fender, the frame showing a crosshatch-cut grille interspersed by embossed rosettes, flanked between double rows of embossed beading. Affixed to a conforming cavetto-shaped foot with individually applied threaded mounts.
