Panel fire screen iron forged with wild faux bamboo.
This beautiful and elegant spark saver or fireplace protector in the shape of bamboo canes, made of iron and gilded with gold leaf and with an interior grid. It is made in the mid-20th century in the Chippendale chinoiserie style, very typical of the Hollywood Regency Style _ the furniture imitating bamboo was very much in the 18th and 19th centuries and in the mid-20th century in the 50's / 70's the style was revived. This type of furniture imitating bamboo or faux bamboo is normally associated with quality furniture with a certain Anglo-Saxon style, which is why they were common in rather elite classes in the rest of Europe.
This piece is very elegant solid and timeless. It will coordinate very well in any environment, from a beautiful house in the English countryside or in the Hamtoms to an Urban apartment in London or New York or anywhere else in the world.
