A fine French 19th/20th century Louis XV style gilt-bronze figural fireplace screen. The whimsical ornate ormolu frame with scrolled and rounded corners, detailed with flowers and acanthus and centered with a figure of a Putto suspended from a swing, over a metal mesh, raised on four scrolled cabriolet feet. Circa: Paris, 1890-1900.
